There will be an extra 3" diameter of metal that wasn't there before...hence more mass away from the center of the hub. It's no biggie, I'm just curious to prove it on a dyno since it has been bugging me forever. In your case, the 6lb drop might compensate for the added diameter of the wheel, but I'm just speaking out of my experience so far. My wheels are 3 lbs lighter each, only 1" larger than stock, and I lost 1 mph on the traps in what I thought were better weather conditions. Just keep your mind open, because I had mine closed also and now I'm wondering. That's all I'm sayin. 99 SVTC, T-Red, #652/2760-12.8.1998 Mother#@%@!* did I sound abstract?
