I've downloaded all these images, and later, I'll clean them up and save them in a much more efficient and usable format; unless someone else does so first.

I've greatly improved the contrast, making them much clearer, converted them to 4 bits per pixel, and saved them in .GIF format (.JPG is really only for photographs and similar images, and does very poorly with line-drawing type images such as these).
The result is that these images are now much clearer, and the file sizes, on average, are on the order of 1/5 the size of the .JPGs posted here.
