Which should I get
BAT Reverse Cone Air Filter Kit
KKM SVT True-Rev Sport Kit
Other

If you know of another choice, I'd be happy to know what it is...or if you would like to add a few quick comments about the 2 choices that I provided, please feel free.

Thanks

Neither - all reverse cone design airfilters are crappy. Dyno test on the Duratec have proved this.

A regular K&N pod works best. The one you want is an RU-3530

That mounts on an adapter? It didn't look like the K&N drop-in that I already threw away.

Mirko K&N Filter Adapter, is that a good choice?

Actually, nothing, now...once I fixed the gasket issue. If I find something better, I probably won't wait too long before I take it out. There has to be a better solution than the drop-ins...w/o making the induction look too ricey.

I just voted [giggle]

For looks, I'm leaning towards Mirko's adapter [black] and their green filter!

Visit www.knfilters.com and find one that fits your adapter.

Honestly, you're probably not going to find a better filter than K&N. Especially a KKM. If you want a KKM, you can have mine because I'm going with a K&N.

If you've had a K&N, and didn't like it, well, go back to stock or don't waste your time IMO.

I have the KKM, I like it just fine, but from what I hear the K&N is also a really really good choice.

The KKM is actually not too bad. But when you get into 3L or highly modified 2.5L territory (not even F/I), a KKM has been known to both implode and doesnt meet the flow requirements for those engines.
