The front end of the contour is longer. The bonnet reaches further beyond the headlights, and the front bumper is much longer, due to US regulations. You will need to do modifications to the bonnet for it to fit over Mondeo headlights, and significan modifications to your bumper makeit line up with the bonnet. I have no clue if Mondeo wings will line up with the bonnet, but I think it will. I have even less clue if the Mondeo wing will line up with the Contour front bumper. If you decided to try getting the US front bumper aswell, you would probably want to get the actual bumper underneath aswell or there will be alot of hollow space. Finally the top middle of the Contour front bumper mounts up differently to the Mondeo one. Feel free to PM me for more info if you like.....

I have an idea - swap entire frrnt ends with some lucky bleeder here in the states -
that way you both get what you want.

HEY I want those morettes.The clear corners
are still in the box.I,ll order the morettes in the next
3 months.Where did you get the lights?My cars the same color
but I,ll have the extreme front and sides with svt rear.
Can you post a how to on the headlight installation?

Welcome to CEG, M8!

I liked your first ride a lot, looks good, them lines are flowing nice. Please post more pix of the engine bay.

Now, the Mk2 is not exactly my cup of tea, but still gotta give you a credit for individualization. What's the deal with the grille though? If ya were into painting it, wouldn't it be better lookin' if you matched its color with your body graphics? Just my 2 cents (or pennies for that matter )

Gonna go for a bit of stainless next guys. Oil filler, battery cover and above lights and grill. Will keep you all posted. Hope you dont mind Mondeos being posted on here Loads can be found at www.fordmondeo.org
