Yes we still have those revenue generators. They're not really effective since people (myself included) do 80 mph throught there regardless. Nearly every fatal accident on 10 between here and El Paso has been due to DWI, something a "safety corridor" isn't going to be effective against. One of the saddest ones involved a US Marine who had just recently returned home from Iraq only to die at the hands of a drunk driver.
