I have installed two hoods, one on two different cars and have got all of them to latch and fit nicley. We don't even have to apply much force to latch them, almost like stock. Having said that we had to put spacers in the catch mechanism, no big deal and slightly tweak the latch on the hood. The length I thought would have been an issue, but turns out its not at all.



Just unbolt the catch mechanism throw 2 washers between there for spacers. I pulled my grill off so i could lower the hood and then tighten everything up, so i could make sure everything was strait
