Why are you letting others do your research? How do you know its full of garbage? Because someone else said it was?
If nothing else, Moore brings out another way of looking at things. It allows us to question what we think we know. What's so wrong about that?

I actually went to see it a couple weeks back. Didn't post on it before because I can't add much to what has already been said about it. Let's just say my jaw was scraping the floor through pretty much the entire show, given the titanic amount of BS, deception, misdirection and half-assed insinuations that made up the mockumentary. It was truly pathetic for the most part, though pieces of it did shine through and touch a few nerves. Overall, it was pretty frightening in it's brazen agenda of Bush-bashing. What was even more frightening was the number of Neanderthals sitting around me buying every bit of it, hook, line and sinker. The blanket credence that this movie has received from a sizeable number of the public is disturbing as Hell. It seems that people no longer want to recognize truth from fiction, just as long as it's something they can agree with and relate to...  The entire tone of the movie just smacked of propaganda; well-written and dramatized propaganda, though, if that counts for something. The movie DOES grab your attention, much in the same fashion street-corner preachers do when they are screeching about the end of the world. Moore isn't all BS; he does bring up some valid points and concerns on how things have been handled in the Bush administration, but IT'S THE WAY HE GOES ABOUT IT. The guy is little more than a 5-year old with a camera, using a metaphorical sledgehammer to attack any and every issue that runs contrary to his belief system. I'd say Moore is creative, not smart. He takes FEW stands on anything; he's more into raising a ruckus than putting forth solutions to problems. If he was smart, he'd be offering solutions to what he screams about loudest; REAL solutions, not just replacing President x with President y.

So are you suggesting that Moore's editing should be overlooked because some of his points may be valid? I'm fairly certain, no, quite sure actually, he admitted to Matt Lauer on the Today Show that he edits to mis-represent context, opinion, and fabricate the message he wants to send in support of his own opinon.
BBorges, I respect your civil and educated opinon. However *see bolded section above*, please answer me this: if some is admitted as being mis-represented or deliberately taken out of context, how are the viewers of his film able to determine which parts are fact and which are fiction.
Fortunately for him, he is an American and is free to do so. A right I would defend to the death (USMC, ret. speaking here), even for Moore, to do so. Yet, I despise him for utilizing the priviledges (garaunteed rights) afforded by the U.S. Constitution as a means to present a highly altered, an admitted untruth in fact, presentation.
I will not see the movie as I refuse to contribute financially in any way to Moore.
