IIRC, the fender intake tubing is pretty small in diameter. If you could cut the stock fender tubing off right after it enters the fender, that should work pretty well.
BTW, sorry about not posting underside/filter pics yet. I never got a chance to go to my parent's on Sunday. Hopefully I won't have to work this weekend and I can get them posted.
