okay.. let's look at this the LOGICAL way...
Have you tried talking to the lady, and showing her the damage she has caused? Perhaps she isn't aware of the damage...
Ask her to pay for the damages privately, and you may be surprised. If she refuses, and won't budge, then you have something to go to the police with. Their mere presence on a doorstep will most times turn the "hardest" of people around.. Try those things, rather than risk more damage, and the possiblilty of not getting ANYTHING covered... Besides... .who wants to HURT their car MORE.. when it WASN'T their fault?
