I contacted the 2nd place yesterday and mentioned that I may have some local opportunities for work but that I'd prefer to work for them. They had one interview to do yesterday and would be making a decision within a couple days I was told. Writing another email to the HR lady to tell her that I now have an offer and asking for advice on how to proceed.
