Hey Danny no harm done, and yes most of the air comes from the outside but there is an opening in front of the filter in fact the KKM slides right into the opeining, that's how big it is, so it does draw some heat from in the engine bay, bet like I mentioned not nearly as much as the KKM because of it's complete open design. KKM is a great filter, but I definately notice a near night and day difference from the 2, and that's exactly what roar advertises.
As far as Pics. That won't be happening at least anytime soon, no digital camera, maybe when I go to my next Solo event and were taking pics, I might remind myself to take pics of the intake. It is Carbon Fiber so it's alot nicer than the KKM unit, and like I mentioned it is a very tight fit in there and basically that's about it.....
