This weekend I drove from D.C. to Connecticut. I took I-95 all the way, including the NJ turnpike, I-295, and I must say, you guys are really brave. This was my first experience driving in the NE side, and well let's just say I wasn't the happiest person in the world. Aside from the 1.5 hrs traffic on the NJ turnpike to get onto the Memorial Bridge, then the 30mins traffic in the Bronx, and the lovely 1hr traffic on the NY-CT border, I was pretty pissed off. Oh yes...and then there was the accident...ahh the accident. I was coming to the exit NJ turnpike toll (btw how the heck do you guys afford all these tolls), and the idiot 2 cars in front of me, decides to brake hard as hell...well the guy in front of me hits him, and I hit the guy in front of him, which then created a ripple effect, hitting the first guy again...I was pretty pissed off, luckily not much damage, speed was >5mph, just a few scratches and blemishes, which I can repair myself. Anyways, the a-clown whom decided to brake hard as hell, gets both my information and the guy in front of me, then tells us he's going to pull out his information from the glove compartment, so while the guy in front and I are accessing the damage on our vehicles, we hear this car peel out...the guy decided to run off into the wind (got his license plate and vehicle make, but dont know what else to do now)...Bahhhh...I''m just glad there was no police, otherwise I would have probably gotten a ticket...I'm at fault because of this f#@k, and now my ins. co. is going to give me a nightmare...
To make a long story short, I'm never driving in this area again. I think this weekend has shaved off five years of my life because of the stress-level I had while driving. Anyways, you guys, who battle it out everyday, are real troopers. I just wanted to tip my hat off to you folks...
