I preferred to design a REAL water injection system rather than just siphoning water into the engine. They use valves to mix unmetered air and water into the engine, so the leaning out of the air/fuel mixture is probably what is getting the claimed increase in mileage not the pool of water that's sitting in your intake. Statements like "makes for a sweet tune" on their website says it all.
For $300 I can build you a real water injection system that is electronically controlled and adjustable.
Don't take offense to this personally, I am only trying to save you from wasting your time and money.
Aussie,
I'm a little confused, but absolutely do not mean any disrespect. I'm not sure if I agree with your above statement. I believe that atomization is nothing more than providing sufficient line pressure and nozzle sizing (like your garden hose sprayer at the "mist" setting). Or am I missing something?
If you do get your product to work, I believe my brother has taken a look at several of these system and is interested in adding a system to his 1.8T Passat (and he's right in the Detroit area). Let me know what you would offer for the $300
