its a silver 98 SE Sport with a SUPPOSED SVT powertrain, that remains to be verified yet though. But it does move.

Guy i bought it off of swapt the motor and tranny at 90K, he claims to have replaced it with an SVT motor/tranny. It does have the same duratec cover as the real SVT's but that doesnt really mean anything. I'm hoping to find a serial number on the block and run that. So thats why i say "supposed". I don't wanna run around saying I have an SVT powered contour if it turns out that I really don't.



If its is a REAL SVT engine, It will PING LIKE HELL on 87 octane !!!
Did he swap the PCM for the SVT PCM also ???
If not, You'll need a chip and at least 91 octane to get any HP out of that bad bay !!!
