Since they have a money back gaurentee, I will try this on my wife's Explorer (needs better gas milage) once we get into our house. If I don't notice an increase in milage of at least 25%, the unit is going back. From their site:

"This is a finely tuned water injection system unlike any other, giving total atomization of water and air before going into the engine where it is further atomized, here in turn it collides with the fuel molecules making a highly explosive mixture and expanding the fuel."

I think that you may have simply written this off as a gimic without reading their literature. Read the site, take it at face value, and contact them with questions. However, dont come here and say that this is nothing but a water dropper and is no better than a "x" snakeoil part. I am merely trying to help by offering alternatives that I have come accross in my research.[/b]

Trevor, they used to have beter pictures of it installed on a vehicle. It showed "unatomised" water sitting in a clear line running to a hose on the throttle body (like a PCV hose) so there was no sprayer, and from what I saw the water was in liquid form not steam or atomised, so it would trickle into your engine. I preferred to design a REAL water injection system rather than just siphoning water into the engine. They use valves to mix unmetered air and water into the engine, so the leaning out of the air/fuel mixture is probably what is getting the claimed increase in mileage not the pool of water that's sitting in your intake. Statements like "makes for a sweet tune" on their website says it all.
I wouldn't waste my money and time even trying it, when I know I can build soimething that has be legitimately test and used in motorsports and aviation for years. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
They want $350 for something now that they were advertising at $125 a few months back.

SCAM!

For $300 I can build you a real water injection system that is electronically controlled and adjustable.
Don't take offense to this personally, I am only trying to save you from wasting your time and money.
