When you say that you checked it out, what do you mean? Did you purchase one and install it? These people didn't stay in buisiness for 29 years by scamming people. I contacted the owner of AquaTune a few months back and she was very informative and helpful. Since they have a money back gaurentee, I will try this on my wife's Explorer (needs better gas milage) once we get into our house. If I don't notice an increase in milage of at least 25%, the unit is going back. From their site:
"This is a finely tuned water injection system unlike any other, giving total atomization of water and air before going into the engine where it is further atomized, here in turn it collides with the fuel molecules making a highly explosive mixture and expanding the fuel."
I think that you may have simply written this off as a gimic without reading their literature. Read the site, take it at face value, and contact them with questions. However, dont come here and say that this is nothing but a water dropper and is no better than a "x" snakeoil part. I am merely trying to help by offering alternatives that I have come accross in my research.
