I would have to agree they are.
3000GT is a maintenance pig and insanely expensive to repair.
The VR4 is basically a 4-door GSX.
However it's heavier so therefore slower comparably. It does score extra points for being a 4-door though.
However the post was "greater then other DSM's" and DSM's are Diamond Star Motors which equals Talon, Laser, Eclipse. 
umm you're thinking of galant vr4's(very cool) but I think he means 3000gt vr4's 3.0 TT awd. 2 door not four
