However that still does not change the fact it makes 5-15 more HP and ~40 more TQ.
That means even if the weight is even (GS-T is slightly lighter too BTW) it still should pull on the top end. With the extra torque it pulls getting there too.
There is a reason a DSM is the best import bang for the buck.
That's not saying the SVT is a slouch either.
Remember you are comparing a normally aspirated 4-door family sedan to a lighter sport coupe with an intercooled turbo. Throw in some corners and the GS-T becomes a paperweight in comparison.
The SVT is a complete package in a 4-door wrapper. Very few can say that even today and when the SVT came out nothing could touch it unless you went twice it's price range. That's saying a lot!
