Certainly. If you decide that cooking your clutch is worth a tenth or two off the line that you'll lose anyway as speeds increase.
GSXs carry a ton of unsprung and extra weight due to that AWD system, and they aren't making any extra power over GSTs, so any minuscule gain you'll get right out of the hole will be lost by the time you hit the lights.
