Saw two today, a T-redish colored one and a yellow one in front of Ford on 17 and Mound, nice car and can't wait to check one out in person in the fall

I saw a car that looked just like that one on 96 last night around 6. he was getting off at telegraph. Saw what looked like the same car(i was about 8 car behind) a week earlier as well.

For those in the know, you know who you are, how much bigger, longer and wider is the new 05' Stang and is it true that its built on the Lincoln LS chassis

Don't recall exact dimensions, but the size difference is largely in wheelbase, not so much in overall length etc.


As far as being based off the LS platform, no, it isn't. There is a real long story behind it, but basically in the end it made a lot more sense to have a unique platform for the Mustang. If you look at photos of the structure of both cars, you will see some similarities in design concept, but the suspension architecture is quite different.

First off, whats a LCA?

Brian, thanks for the correct info, its much appreciated. I guess that longer wheelbase is playing trick on my eyes because that thing looks alot longer than the current car does.
