I just got competent at changing front brake pads on my 2000 SVT (used the contour.org how to). This opens up the possibility of switching front pads from street pads (like Bendix Titaniums) to track pads (like Mintex 1144s)when getting ready for a track day weekend. Does this create problems by using different compounds on the same rotor? Any other plusses and minuses? Anybody have personal experience with this? Thanks.
