Go ahead and put the badges on. All the real car guys that know the difference are just going to laugh at you. Go ahead if you don't mind ppl laughing at you. I'm guessing misbadging occurs between the ages of 17 & 23. At about 24 you wise up that you're a retard or can afford the real deal.

Again poser,
Those aren't kit cars those are Fiero's with body kits posing as high end cars. It's lame BS.

Some cars look just fine with them on.
Why bother spending money on stickers to place on you car? What the hell does that do for you?
First, Reasons to do it:
Now, Reasons not to:
1) It ruins the paint (sometimes) 2) Costs money that could be saved for 'go faster' parts - Yes, Im aware I said "go faster parts" 3) Says the car is something that its NOT. - The point of 'badges' is to tell people what your car is so you dont have to. If you have 'badges' on the car that say its something its not. Its the same as LYING about your car, which is disgraceful, disrespectful, and just plain sad. 4) Looks bad.
First, (Only) Reasons to do it:
1. A sponsor is paying you to do it. 2. You have to do it to compete in a Sponsor's series. 3. A company pays extra contingency if you wear it. 4. Grassroots Motorsports might publish a picture of your car if you wear their sticker.
Oh, and magnetic sheet is a wonderful thing.

Leave the badges on and let people know you have a fast WRX! Never did I put SVT badges on my car. Even after the 3.0L and Street Flight kit, the Contour SE badges are still sported on back. Why you ask? Even though I am faster than an SVT Contour, it rolled off the assembly line as an SE. I could changed everything on the car to match an svt, but the vin number still clarifys it as a base model contour. Not to mention, it feels good when you beat someone and you only have an SE. And if you lose, well, its only an SE! Plus, hypothecially if i did have the fastest contour in the world and I put svt badges on it, people would make fun of me for being a poser because its not the real deal. If your gonna put badges on it, at least go all the way and put Skyline GT-R badges on it!

I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment

labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
