No tranny rebuild. Just them going in and changing the 3rd gear syncro. I also did my clutch at the same time though. As for cost what I paid won't really help you because I got a really good deal on everything and it is not the normal price but the original quote was around $2,000.00 -$2,500.00 including the clutch and all labour and parts. They had the car for 4 days. The parts alone are about $700-$800 (including the clutch). Hope this helps.
