I'm kind of stuck here. I would like to know how you guys who have done their cv joints before, how you guys got the driveaxle out of the tranny. I have tried and tried and it's not budging. Were you guys doing it from under the car? Used any special tools? I was thinking of bending a crow bar into a L so then i can just pry it off. I'm just trying to find a simple way to go about it. I simply thought you could just pull it out. What are your suggestions? Thanks.

I used a 6' piece of wood, 2x4 and wedged in between housing and shaft and pryed it out...better leverage and won't damage anything. Driver side was tougher than passenger side, but just a good force and it came out.
