Also, Z3 fenders aren't functional. That's why people make fun of them.
I know where you're coming from with the whole ricer defense bit. That's unfortunately why a lot of Honda enthusiasts get made fun of: there is an abundance of kids who modify their cars (or try to) and sadly none of them have any idea what they're talking about or what they're doing. Heck, it took me a year of proving my salt in discussion threads on this website to get any sort of acceptance and get past the stereotypes.
FYI, I had a '99 Civic Si with a good amount of engine and suspension work that I had all done myself. There were no external modifications aside from the Koni coilover kit. Best damn coils I've ever driven on.
you seem to knwo more about it than i do, i dont knwo much aside from what he told me. use your judgement on this. i dont know if its true or not, i just know its a fast [censored] civic. and its painted a ford color. i know for a fact it has a turbo though. that i HAVE seen.
Regards, Cole.

I'm considering painting my project car (1983 CVCC hatch) the same grey color. Project hatchs can be fast as balls. There was a guy in Houston running high tens with a turbo GSR motor with a stock block. Wicked quick.

Hi Hello I work for BMW....Z3 fenders are not even funtional on a Z3...they serve no logical purpose...not even on a Z3....They actually serve to be a pain in the ass, casue the trim keeps on breaking on the fenders...there has not been a day that atleast 1 Z3 comes in for a trim problem. Man im glad they have the Z4 now...no ugly fenders...and its better looking IMO. Lupe

hondas are great, until you get some punk ass who thinks he can throw an intake and exhaust on and spank any car he lines up against. Most people do not really mod hondas...and out of the ones that do, the vast majority of those modders give the rest a bad name.
agree 100%, ricers are everywhere they drive anything: Mustangs,Camaro's,Saturns,Caviler's even...Contours

He has a turbo, 100 shot of nitrous on an ITR block with all kinds of goodies inside. it is a 1994 Civic Si hatchback. not sure what kind of HP he is putting down, but he is running low 12's/high 11's...but he has also spent 10,000 dollars on his car

so STFU about ricers, its getting old. not everyone who mods a honda is a ricer, the 5% that are give the rest a bad name.
See your first post ...I would say 95% of people that mod Honda's ARE RICERS ...

First of all, I've had this opinion going back years. I think it was around '96 or so when I saw a handful of cars with giant rims, little tires, and cut springs so the damn things would dislodge your organs as you drove in them. I hated them then, and I hate them now.
I've got NO issue for anyone who wants to mod their car so they perform. But stop buying everything that APC and StreetGlow puts out simply because it's at a good pricepoint and is available at your local AutoZone.
Second of all, it's not MY bash. That was taken from Craigslist, and I thought it was a pretty decent rant. Next time, READ my post before you comment on it.
