Yeah, kind of like the notorious IAT resistor "mod." Fooling the EEC into thinking the inlet air is cooler than it really is will also -supposedly- net you the kind of power claimed by the ERAM - just through additional spark timing advance.
When I first heard about this a year or two ago I did some serious searching and some calculations based on power and flow and came to the conclusion that despite the hype and advertising, there was no way this thing could produce any kind of real gains.
But to argue it again now would be exhausting - and would never convince a true "believer." Physics does not lie. A blower motor properly sized to make a real difference in engine power would make the ERAM look like the toy that it is. Think electric motor powered vortech supercharger. It would also have a huge current draw requiring dedicated batteries and would be impractical as hell on a street driven car.
