For anyone interested the SVTOA is putting on a chevy vs ford challenge at Cedar Falls drag strip in NE Iowa. IIRC it's about 2.5-3 hours from the cities. I'm going to try and bring my car up there for a few passes. It's on August 14th, gates open at 8 and runs start at 10. Info is here Rick

So besides the drag meet in Wisconson are there going to be any meets in the cities or something?

I havent heard of any, but that doesnt mean we couldnt arrange one...  we could shoot for the second weekend in August? What ya all thinkin?

i wont be here 2nd week in august, i leave for cleveland august 5th  have fun though guys  . i actually saw a nice t-red svt the other day and left a note on his car, maybe he'll show up on here some time...

I still say you guys should just come down to Cedar Falls and at least watch the fun. There should be some pretty quick cars there.

I guess I'm in for the Cedar Falls event. Would they consider a 98 Contour SE a "Performance Vehicle" and let me run it on the track a few times? Also are we going to meet up anywhere and all go down at the same time? I live in the Rochester area and don't feel like driving to the cities just to go back the other way.

I don't think you can run the "event" but it's also a test and tune day so you can just run for fun.
