9000 this state is out of control. Obviously I don't NEED a car since I live on the upper east side, but I play baseball in a league in westchester and would like to be able to drive to the beach, atlantic city, or home to MA if I should desire. You can't even rent a car cheap in the city because of stupid liability laws.



I wish I was kidding. I'm under some New York State Insurance program called NY AIP. It is for people who can't really get insurance from the big companies, people like me, who are young and people who have lots of traffic violations. This program gives you a cheap rate. What it really is, is that it just sends you to someone who will take you. I have Liberty Mutual of Boston, Mass, but I live in Brooklyn, NY and Rochester, NY. Who cares, my rate is 1500 for liability which is cheap for being 19.
