See, that would require action. Liberals only like to OWN an issue, not solve it. If they SOLVED issues, then they would no longer feel "needed".

Exactly. Liberals like to create problems so that they can get votes under the guise of solving those problems. Poverty and the homeless come to mind. Jesse Jackson and the NAALCP also come to mind as creating issues out of [censored].
And before the liberals flame me for this, I don't mean that liberals create poverty and homelessness. They take something not too terribly significant and make it appear as if they can find the solution to it.
Well, I guess I could argue how their socialist welfare programs create these problems, but that's a whole new thread.

I am not going to call the people stupid for not knowing about AIDS. Stupid would imply they KNOW about the dangers of AIDS but still keep on having sex. Anyway, I do agree with the rest of your statement.
