I bet the person who shot him was someone that lives closeby that knew him. Probably a friend that needed drug or alcohol money.
I used to have a 9mm Smith & Wesson that would jam too often. I like a 357 or 44 magnum revolver because they never jam and they have good knock down power. If shooting inside the noise will probably stun the person enough to stop them.
