my car has been sitting for 2 months with a blown headgasket and I've got a lil water in the oil plus the gas is still there.

I've heard that the piston rings can rust from this? I hope I'm ok.

Not the rings, but the cylinders. Even if the motor is still together, moisture will build up and cause rust on any bare metal in the engine. A little surface rust is no problem, the first time its started, it will most likely get rubbed off with no problems. Let it go long enough, and the metal will starting pitting, which means you will need to rehone the cylinders, or at worst, have to bore to good metal.

When I got my '95 Mystique in March 2001, it only had 22,000 miles on it and was manufactured in July 1994. The previous owners had purchased it in Feb '96 with 200 miles on it. It did a lot of sitting, especially in the first year an a half before it was purchased, either in a warehouse or on a dealer lot. One of the first things I did was to replace all fluids and filters.
I found that the transmission front seal liked to leak on hot days, especially when using the AC. Using some Lucas transmission/gasket conditioner seemed to do the trick and it's been bone dry under there since putting it in last summer.
