Check it again, March 2003. That's a year and four months. The whole thing about gas is that it can go bad. I've heard of people going for a year with no problems before, but I always put some Sta-bil in when I store just in case. I'd hate to have to have a shop literally pull apart my fuel tank, lines, injectors because the gas turned to varnish.
