He is right there. The DSM ECU cannot hanlde atmosphere dumps as it has already ":counted" the air coming in and on shifts the dumped air dramatically decreases the A/F ratio (richer) and causes the engine to stumble.
The DSM's use a Karman Vortex type of MAF. It counts eddies in the airflow to calculate the mass of air entering the engine.
The Apex S-AFC is compatible with different types of Air Flow meters, I just hope that the Ford style is one of them. I am thinking it should work.
