As for the issue of driving in snow, the regular low beams seem to work well. Less glare. In heavy snow, I don't even use the brights. I also turn down the instrument panel. Of course, i have light-sensitive eyes.

I have read others who live in snowy areas posting to this board that they were pulling their Silverstars after a bad winter experience. Others have noted that they are bad in the rain.
