Been working with a certain shop in Staten Island, NY to figure out how to hook it up & tune it on our cars.
Its not going to be easy...

I had one brand-new in the box for my GSX, but I sold the car before I installed it.
On turbo cars you can make easily 20hp with it by fine tuning your air/fuel ratio through the rpm band.
I sold it as I didn't think it would work on the SVT. Mind you I think you COULD do it, you just have to figure out which wire to use. If someone works out how to wire it up, I'll buiy another one, way better than a chip IMHO, you can adjust it through 500rpm steps and have you A/F ratio perfectly tuned for both high and low engine loads.
I thought I read somewhere once that some dude with a Mustang had fitted one, but I couldn't find anymore info on it, and you know that if it works on a Mustang it'll work on our cars as we share the same style of MAF.

could this be a way to fix the possible negative effects of running a 50 shot of nos on a 2000 (returnless fuel system).... to be able to increase the fuel flow to keep me out of running lean with the happy gas on?

SpeedDemons wet system/fogger or what ever you want to call it wet can be done cheeply and will be very effective.

don't know why it wouldn't work I've seen so many cars with afc controllers just don't know how it would hook up to the maf sensor.

Pin D on the MAF is the read voltage, RPM sensor, TPS sensor are the three major ones. Making it work on our cars would be a piece of cake as long as you have a dyno shop with wide band sensors to help set it up. Do a search for "Super Probe" on the net and you'll find a guy that had one on his blue Probe GT, then switched to a different unit that offered more adjustability (AFM Link IIRC). Both units will work on our cars, just a matter of doing it and paying to set it up. The Apexi isn't that great compared to others, but for $299... sure kicks butt over the MAF controller that has only two adjustment points compared to 8 WOT and 8 low throttle settings on the Apexi.

the problem is not hooking up or running the system, but running way lean (not enough fuel) when the NOS is on, does the AFC have a wide enough range of fuel changes available to keep it normal/bit rich at WOT?

The biggest problem we are figuring w/ the S-AFC is funky idle.
As for dyno tuning.. I have access to a dyno, does anyone want to sponsor me?

8 points WOT is all you have to adjust. It does, however, have a "stupid" setting that reverts back to stock should the operator have problems adjusting the unit. I don't know if this is easy enough to reset to consider using it for fueling a N2O set up.

Mark, why would it have a funky idle? As long as you adjust the part throttle settings safely, the idle shouldn't be effected unless I'm missing something. WOT settings are totally separate and wouldn't mess with idle at all.
