You're worried about doing it yourself -- "I would have had to do the work to the car" -- worried about the wasted effort, weighing the costs of doing it yourself vs. letting someone else do it...but you're on the thread where a guy spent over **6 hours** trying to find, unsuccessfully, a radiator drain plug @ the O2 sensor, the washer fluid container, etc...but *you* had the nerve to tell me that I was wrong for suggesting that he let someone else do it? Does that make sense to you?

Right now, I'm right in the very middle of doing a complete tune-up, transmission service, shocks, front drive axles, timing belt kit, cam and crank seals, P/S pump, brakes, tires and compressor on a '94 4runner...put it back together. 
The guy is real proud of it. His dad gave him the vehicle and it's taken him about six months to save up for this [since the fist time that he came in for an estimate], so do a real good job for him, expert.
