Actually the udp will probably work with the supercharger but it will end up underdriving the supercharger just like it will underdrive rest of the accesories. So the question is why would you want to run 5-6 psi when the kit is suppose to make 8 psi?
Some cobra guys have actually done that since there are afraid to blow their engines. Oh, regarding to your questions, a dyno-tuned chip will help out both the reliability and in the power department if there is a mod you should seriously consider with any power adder.
