Gave a friend of mine a ride who has never seen my car before and she said... "Your car sounds like an airplane" Wasn't really sure what to say so I just said, I guess. Was she dissin my car?

Doesn't matter what a girl says about a car. The girls that have driven mine like it, but I'm sure that's just because it's different and faster than their POSs.

the last time someone said that about my car I was running no resonator or rear muffler...I don't consider that a good thing.

yeah, me and another guy at work like to modify our cars, he (Larry) has a 96 or 97 Elantra with an ATX the 1.8L. He put a fireball muffler on it. Its pretty loud, actually sounds pretty good. The other day one of my other co-workers (Andrey) walks up to my contour, and just to screw arround I revved the engine, probably to arround 5500 RPMS (no tach). he says to me, Jeez your muffler is louder then Larry's... I was like O_o? my Exahust system is stock... Everybody seems to love the sound of my exhaust system, but I havent done anything to it. It makes me wounder if the last owner installed a different resonator or something.
