Can you share the brand name and model number of the aftermarket HU so that others may be advised that itâ??s a poor purchase?

It is by Rampage-don't have the model handy-it's probably the cheapest--it also plays cds that you've burned yourself(which is why I selected it) thought it was a good buy!LOL

Replacing the factory speakers with quality replacements will give you much better bass, with premium sound. I do not know for sure how good a non premium would perform. When selecting the 6x8, be sure to watch tweeter and rear protrusion depths, there are some that will not fit, depending on your year.
