"Mang" or "meng" is a Latin American/Hispanic equivalent of "man" - something that used to be "hombre" yrs ago or "esse" used by Mexicans or "Holmes"/"Homes" (apparenly from a "Homie".)
The thing is - some words used by specific Hispanic communities are not used by the others - despite the same Spanish language they use - like some words that are used by Cubans won't be used by Dominicans or Puerto Ricans.
