Yep, I just got back from tweaking it. It hangs around 1250 now but drops off at a stop after 5 sec. I'm happy with it. The first time I tried it, I got rid of the hang but but-dyno said I lost the gain. I'm thinking the hang will even get a little lower in a day or so. I noticed it droping a little today before I started fiddleing with it.
How did you get your hand in there without taking off the inlet pipe and air filter? There was no way I could reach it wiout removing those parts.
Charts coming soon...

Long skinny fingers use to working in the dark I finished optimizing the other throttle body and tried to install it, yep I cut to much off the cable. Talked to Bill at Sentry and another should be here before the weekend. Guess we'll have to put the dyno on hold for a few more days. What did Dot say about the 4th?

BDSVT, let the computer learn for a couple of days.
Another thing -- have you tried Ray's throttle hang fix?

My 98 SVT does almost the same thing since I installed the 65mm T.B. Let off throttle and it hangs at 2000 rpms for about seven seconds. Then it drops and hunts for a steady idle for another three seconds, then it smoothes out. If I am sitting at a light with the clutch in and I let up without giving it any gas to move foward, it will start the whole process over. Idle jumps up and goes through the hang and search process. I havnt ever touched the secondary adjustments and also now when I rev it I get the dreaded moose.

Max, did you adjust the idle air bypass screw?
It's under the rubber cap on the left.
It needs to be ALL the way down/in.

The hang is from a vacuum leak. 1st check the seal at the manifold, Did you re-use the gasket any RTV? 2nd check all Your hoses, PCV, ect. are they plugged in? 3rd all clamps at all rubber joints. Get a propane torch turn it on and with the engine running place it near the expected leak. if there is a leak the idle will speed up. Long shot but if you used a 65m T/B cheek the Allen screw on the left of the housing it must be tight(closed). Hope this info helps

Hey guys, my tb doesnt have a screw in it. It only has a oriface where one would be put,but there are also no threads for a screw. Any thoughts? Should that oriface have a small hole in it somewhere?

The mustang T/B has the allen screw for the air by-pass valve, the contour just has a hole that is seald from yhe inside( it goes no were). Dude it is either a leak or the cracked secondaries

Mustang T/B will have a M stamped on the butterfly, contour V. If there is no screw then you must have a leak. Did you guys yse both gaskets, stang, contour
