hi
after getting all my SVT parts fitted i can feel a lot more power it would seem the throttle hang mod would be a good thing to do
question is by reducing the amount of air being drawn through the IAC will this reduce the overall performance , as i would hate to give up anything i have just gained

nope because the air that goes into the iac is just used for ideling the car once you touch the throttle the air for that goes through the throttle body

Some have felt that the mid range power was reduced. I suggest that you just do it and see for yourself. It is easy to do and just as easy to undo and the cost is next to nothing.

What year do you have? Those who reported power loss had E1's. This had something to do with the IAC being different on the later models, if I'm not mistaken. I have an E0 and there was 0 power loss. Do it and see, cost less than a quarter and only takes a minute to do.
