1st The Contour has a 15gal tank but I find once the fuel is at about 1/4 of a tank it starts acting as thoe it's out of gas and will even die unless I put gas in it. 2nd Sometime's when idleing the car has a sudden burst of power. If the car is stopped at a light and you don't STAND on the brake, the car will jerk forward. If your in Park the car just shakes. This sudden burst will happen about every 5 seconds and will start out of the blue and end just as quick. And of course it stop's before I ever reach a shop to have it checked.

3rd I'm having the same problem as Joe (No power, something's EFFed, dealer can't find)with the sudden loss of power. Everything he has done to try and fix the problem (plugs, timing, trannie, fuel system) is where I was going before reading his posting.
