if you already have the Jl componets i would stick with them unless you are thinking your gonna compete. Fiber glassing is very easy. ummm There isnt a huge need to rewire your doors unless your sending a ton of power threw them. If your going the route with new speakers, amps, ect ect i would build some kickpods or have someone do it and pay them. Then you don't have to worry about the doors.

I have considered kick pods, but I would have to see how they look in person, and if I would be constantly kicking them or getting in the way. So back to amping the doors, are most people just running speaker wire up the middle or down the sides and just splicing them. Its a good thing I don't have to wire the doors, that seems like a pain.

i ran wire to the front doors. its kinda a pain but i like knowing good wiring is going direct to the drivers. i have pics in my sig
rob, so thats your car. do u have other pics? where is the wiring going in and out of? the small details are whats stopping me. plus i'd have to cut the metal in the back seats.

i was referring to jensen.
ill be honest, i dont know anything about the others, except for audiovox.
anyways to refer to jensen as one of the top 5 car audio companies is a joke.
i think they're out of business anyways, bought out by audiovox...
