$165 for $10 worth of materials? No, not to my knowledge, no one has put that in their car. Get the CTA intake from www.ctamotorsports.com and the GMK CAI extension from www.customcougars.com; you'll spend less money and actually get good products.

The Weapon-R cold air box is a joke.
Its made of aluminum.
You know what aluminum does well, it transfers heat.
Take that aluminum box and stick it in your engine bay,
and guess what you have,
a mini oven in your engine bay.
Not where you want your filter.

Quote from CustomCougars.com:

"*NOTE - You must already have an AEM, CustomCougars, Injen or Weapon R Short Ram Intake already installed before ordering this Extension."

and though I am sure it's gonna fit our CTA intakes, I am just being cautious.

All of those intakes use 3" aluminum piping,
same as the CTA.
Granted 3" is not the optimal size,
but that seems to be the standard.
