I teach at a local college in the IT field. It is tough for graduates to get their foot in the door. A security clearance goes along way though since a good deal of IT jobs in this area are with Govt. contractors. We have seen a steady decline in enrollment in our IT programs over the past 2 years. As a matter of fact our parent corporation Kaplan will not allow any of our schools to start new IT Programs if they currently do not have them.
