Does the Focus SVT Returnless Fuel pump and housing come with all the fuel lines (that are internal to the tank) on it?

Does it come with the line that attaches to the tank's access panel?

Does anyone have a pic of one straight out of the package from Ford, before installing it?

Also just to make sure 3S4Z-9H307-BC is the part number that will get me the pump AND housing unit.

It's a different assembly. Remove the pump from the focus basket and transfer it into the Cougar assembly. Works perfect.

what about the fuel lines. Can I leave the lines on the focus pump, and they will also transfer over to the cougar assembly? so the only line that would get disconnected and reconnected is the one that goes into the fuel tank access panel.

essentially i want to disconnect and reconnect as few lines as possible.

Ok here's the procedure. Remove the lines from the cap of the tank. Be careful the fuel line is still under pressure unless you released the schrader valve. Reach in the tank, hopefully low on gas. Twist the basket clockwise and it will come out. Undo the 3 torx bit screws. Carefully remove the level arm. This will come off in 2 pieces. Next press the plastic tabs all the way around the basket and seperate. Remove old pump and put the in the new pump. Re-assemble the basket the reverse way you took it apart.

Edit: You will need to file down the harness that plugs into the pump. The alignment tab is on the wrong side but the wires are correct.

What about the fuel filter "disc" at the bottom? In past threads it was stated to remove this in the SVT Smart pump install. Have we learned differently?

I didn't re use mine. In fact the first time I took the basket out it was on the bottom of the tank.
