I have a 2000 SVT and the guy who installed my radio in my 95 lx says i need a amp bypassing harness. The only one that i can find is what best buy is trying to sell to me for 40 bucks (its wires than a well sized black box then some more wires). He says there is one that shouldnt cost anymore than 15 that just plugs the input and the outputs from the amp togheter or something like that so it is bypassed. Is he talking about this black box?

The only reliable source for the correct amp bypass (as I've heard the 2000 models were different) is Crutchfield. It's not listed on their web site, but phone order. I think people have been paying about $20 for it. It's nice and long and has the right plugs.
