I ran mine through the existing hole under the dash on the driver side. It can be seen if you look at the inside wall above the brake about a foot. It's a rubber "punch through" that leads to the engine. Good Luck!

Theres a rubber insert in the top righ corner of the engine compartment that already has one wire going through it, you should be able to fit the wire through easily..

holy crap! what a chore. theres a thick black wire tube going what looks to be into the passenger compartment. Do I cut that open and thread the power cord through there, or can I slip it next to that black tube? It seems that the opening is juust big enough for the tube that's allready going through it. Plus, there's an electrical box right in the way in the engine compartment. Is there any way to remove this huge obstruction temporarily?

You should be looking on the drivers side..Yes there is a thick tube going through there but it will still fit you can always attach the wire to a hanger and shove it through there thats how I did it...or you can always drill a hole just be carefull not to hit anything..

when I ran the power wire to my amp I drilled a 3/8 hole in the air duct that goes around the cabin air filter and then just put the wire under the filter and bent the filter around the wire, it was real easy and took longer to take the wiper arm off to open the panel to access the filter.

Thanks to all who helped. It was simple enough once I knew what I was looking for. Now to just crimp this damn power cable...
