Ok, I just got a new head unit. I wired up the harness, went and pulled out my old deck. Then I went to bypass the factory amp. Well that was were the trouble started, One connector on the amp bypass cable fit fine, but the other was completely wrong. So I left the deck out, and went back to where I got the Harness. I noticed that I had no Clock, and my keyless entry didn't work now.

I got to the store and they say that is the only one they carry and I will have to run new wiring to the bypass the amp.

I was kinda mad at this point since i bought a harness set that said on the package "Easy to Use. No Splicing!" I came home and set up the wiring for the bypass. I ran wire from the harness on the deck, to where the speakers plug into the amp. Then I put the new deck in.

Tunred on the car, and had no power to the head Unit, or clock, and my keyless entry still won't work!

What did I do wrong? Should I remove the battery cable to see if it resets something? I have done HU installs before, never had a problem, but now this is driving me crazy.

Edit- I checked for blown fuses. I didn't see any.

Do you have a volt meter? The only thing I can think of is your power wires are not hooked up right.

You have blown fuse 32 or 34 (under the left-hand side of the dash panel). I did the same thing when installing my HU. I don't, however, remember if it's 32 or 34, so pull them both and have a look at them.

Hopefully, that will take care of your problems.

Otherwise, you might need some help from the serious gurus on the site.

HTH.

Thank you SO much. I was getting very mad. had blown the #34 fuse. I check #32 since my Haynes manual says that is for the radio. I checked a couple others but missed the one I needed to find. I have to get some new ones before I can test the radio, but it is late so I will go tomorrow and get them.

Thanks again, Jazzman was right on the money.
